Can & Bottle DirectPak can and bottle unitizers are the industry's most prevalent because of their outstanding performance and value. They provide the lowest total cost of ownership and address the number one concern- retained tension. Whether it be metal, paper, aluminum cans or glass, polypropylene, or PET bottles, DirectPak has the strapping system of choice. DirectPak offers two basic Can & Bottle machines. Corrugated DirectPak's corrugated unitizer secures loads using plastic strap to improve production while enhancing your product's appearance. DirectPak's ruggedly designed PCU will save production time, material handling and labor while automatically conveying, compressing, and strapping your corrugated production loads. The PCU basic system comes with 2, 3 and 4 high speed TR14HD strapping heads mounted on a compression plate. Our unique arch and dispenser system will reduce downtime and improve your efficiency and cost effectiveness. Some additional options include: pallet void feeder, integrated lift and turn, package centering device, and additional conveyor. Our PCU is equipped with the TR14HD high speed strapping head which heat seals polyester strap for safe and consistent joint strength. Brick & Block PBTS Polyester strapping is the new standard in the brick and block industry due to its superior characteristics and lower costs. DirectPak/OMS has been supplying brick and block manufacturers for almost two decades now with polyester strapping systems that safely secure break away loads for handling, shipping, and outdoor storage. Lumber & Panels PLTS DirectPak's lumber press secures loads of lumber, plywood, O.S.B., M.D.F., and particle board with our AAR approved 5/8” polyester strap to improve production efficiency and reduce cost. Our ruggedly designed system can be outfitted with automatic dual or magazine bunk feeders to increase production throughput. In addition, our system can be outfitted with automatic top and bottom edge protection to prevent strap indentation or damage to your lumber and panel products. DirectPak's PLTS is equipped with a high speed TR19HT strapping head which heat seals our polyester for safe and consistent joint efficiency. Our AAR approved strap is available in standard or jumbo coils to increase production uptime. Additional options include semi-automatic press operation with tool and balancer, tank heater for cold weather operation, and additional entry and discharge conveyor. Cut Paper & Totes SV5000C DirectPak's SV5000C fully automatic strapping machine is the ideal machine for cut paper and plastic totes. The SV5000C with its servo motor technology provides high speed (up to 55 straps per minute) tamper proof security. No operator is needed and the SV5000C can handle cartons/totes up to 100 lbs. The multi colored touch screen controls with diagnostics and three tier LED status light provide an informative user friendly design. The machine also has a variable speed conveyor and quick adjust castors. These features coupled with DirectPak's extra long strap coils add up to a lower cost of ownership verses other strapping systems. The SV5000C is truly a full featured machine with a basic machine price. Graphic Arts PGU DirectPak's graphic arts pallet strapper secures loads using plastic strap to improve production while enhancing our product's appearance. DirectPak's ruggedly designed PGU will save production time, material handling, and labor while automatically conveying, compressing, and strapping your printed paper loads. The PGU comes with two (2) high speed TR14HD strapping heads fixed on compression platen mounted to our solid frame with automatic pallet void feeders. Our unique pallet feeder, arch, and dispenser system will reduce downtime and improve your efficiency and cost effectiveness. Some additional options include conveyor with lift and turn, additional entry/discharge conveyor, and a package centering device. Textile & Fibers Polyester strapping has replaced steel strapping and wire ties due to its superior characteristics, safety, and lower costs. DirectPak's PWT tool is ideal for applying high strength polyester to compressed bales of natural or synthetic fibers. |
